AFTER SCHOOL CLUB LEADER

The governors would like to appoint an After School Club Leader for 12 hours, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) term time only between 3pm – 6.00pm.  PS5 - £26,777 – £28,686 FTE (36 hrs per week) this role is for 12 hours per week only.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic After School Club Leader to join our friendly, hardworking and supportive team in this popular village school.  We require someone who will create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for our children and ensure high quality care. You will need to be able to provide a range of age-appropriate activities that engage and inspire the children. You will also be helping to provide a hot nutritious snack for the children in your care. 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • can engage well with our children
  • is able to work independently managing their own workload
  • is enthusiastic and motivated
  • is able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils and other stakeholders

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Class Teacher to join our talented staff team.
You will:

  • Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and DfE Teachers’ Standards
  • Monitor, record and report on pupil progress, using data to set challenging targets
  • Establish a positive classroom climate with clear behaviour routines
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s learning journey
  • Line-manage teaching assistants and, for the right candidate, lead a curriculum subject
