Shawfield marks the passing of Queen Elizabeth
We were deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Having celebrated her platinum jubilee earlier in the summer, our whole school community send their thoughts and condolences to King Charles III and members of the royal family.
Children across the school observed a 2-minute silence in assembly this week. Our tribute has been added to the school gates. Each child in every class has decorated a flower and these have been attached to create a focal point for reflection and thought.
