Welcome to Shawfield Primary School. This is an exciting time for children (and their parents!) as they leave playgroups and nurseries and look forward to their first days at school.
We aim to make this an easy, confident step. We hope that through this booklet and the rest of our induction programme we can allay any fears, answer your questions and make the whole experience of starting school enjoyable for you all. The booklet below has been designed to give you some information about starting school with us. Please come and tell us if there’s anything else you would like to know.
