Lessons will use the school grounds and local environment to stimulate learning and give children an understanding of their role in caring for our world. Opportunities for awe and wonder will be part of the children’s development. Real life situations will be used to prepare children for later life. Children need to be aware of their impact in the school community and globally in order to become responsible global citizens.
Building resilience and self-confidence is essential in order that children are prepared to work hard and persevere even when learning is difficult.
